We hope each entrant can fund raise as much as possible on their JustGiving site. If we can each raise £100 or more the Mama Ù project can run for another year, but the sky’s the limit and prizes will be awarded for teams who raise the most.

1. Ideally visit the Pentland Hills Regional Park before the event but if not possible train and be prepared for off road cycling, hill walking and running on rough / rocky trail paths.
2. Train to complete your route in the recommended time or earlier. It would be better not to participate than enter injured, unwell, unfit or untrained which could jeopardise the whole event.
3. Choose your route carefully and stick to it. You must inform us at info@runmamarun.co.uk asap of any cancellations or changes to your planned route, contact, team and registration details. Please keep this to a minimum.
There will be a final email and text to confirm that the event is going ahead. This will go out before 16:00 on Friday 15th Och-tober (allowing you to check we have the right mobile number and for us to check entrant levels, weather and route conditions to continue).
We reserve the right to cancel or change routes and refuse or downgrade participants on the grounds of safety.
If you can meet up and train together as team. Work together to ensure you have the personal and team essential kit ready, as well as fetching tartan outfits.

If the physical challenge isn’t up your street we need volunteers to help us run the event. Could you be a:
- Marshall that weekend (particularly those with event experience and first aider skills)
- First Aider that weekend (up to date first aid experience, doctor or nurse)
- General helper on the day (setting up food, water stations, markers)
- Contributor in the run up to the event (home baking, sweet, fruit or water donations welcome or just some free time – even if you are participating)
